Eligibility -- Voice Entertainment's The Right To Be Heard Contest (the "Contest") is offered and currently open only to legal residents of the United States and Canada at least 13 years old at the time of entry. Employees and directors of Voice Entertainment Inc., their parents, affiliated and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotion agencies, judges and legal advisors, and the immediate family or members of the households of such employees and directors are not eligible. By entering, you (and your parents and legal guardians if you are a minor) agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of Voice Entertainment Inc. which are final and binding in all respects.
Entry -- To enter the Contest, you must attend Voice Entertainment Inc.'s audition process in your respective city and prepare two songs to sing acapella. You must complete the release and waiver form together with your contact information, including your home telephone number (including area code) as well as email address and any other requested fields on the use of performance form. While the thirty-two finalists are voted by an online audience, the selection of the thirty-two is based on two criteria - vocals and performance. Vocal criteria includes pitch control, command of voice and performance criteria includes strength on camera and personality. Winner of the Contest will receive the opportunity to record a digital single to be distributed on several online stores including, but not limited to, iTunes, Yahoo Music, Orca Digital, Napster, Sony Connect, MTV, Bigpond and Zune. Voice Entertainment Inc. has sole discretion on release dates and provider.
A contestant may be disqualified from the Contest for any of the following reasons; advertisement or promotion of any service or product in the videos; use of profanity, racial slurs or offensive language in the videos; providing false or inaccurate personal information during entry into the Contest; for any other reason Voice Entertainment Inc. may deem appropriate in the best interest of the Contest.
Voting -- The start of the voting period will be indicated on the Contest site for each respective round. Voting will be conducted under the supervision of Voice Entertainment Inc. Voting is unlimited. At the end of the voting period, each round winner will be announced and featured in the next scheduled round. Voice Entertainment Inc. reserves the right to change voting times and video release dates without prior notice.
